Help! I (foolishly) tried to download 'Zango' in order to watch some videos. Apparently the DL did not complete properly, and now I have this 'setup.exe.part' file on my desktop. I cannot get rid of it. Adaware and Spybot did not catch it. It won't let me move it to the recycle bin because it says the file is open in another program (maybe - I don't know). Any assistance to a dumb techie on how to get rid of this file will be DEEPLY appreciated! OH, operating system is Vista Enterprise.

I believe it should work the same as XP. Boot into Safe Mode then delete the file.

If that doesn't work try Unlocker.

    Deleting a File - Success!

    Thanks Whiskeyman,

I was at the point of closing programs and such to reboot into safe mode. When I closed Firefox I got a message indicating a download was still in progress, and to cancel or continue. When I continued and Firefox closed, I noticed the file in question was no longer on my desktop! Woo Hoo! Must have been 'caught' somewhere.
