Was Running Sp2 on XP Computer, had problems with Windows Firewall so I decided to uninstall and reinstall. Presently I am having an NT Authority shutdown problem when connected to the internet. Have scanned computer with Spybot and Ad-Aware. Avg comes up with 2 files that are deleted and reinstalled when computer reboots. Can only do scans in safe mode but there is not enough time to complete a full Housecall Scan
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\msdirectx.sys
There is also another suspicious file RDRIV.SYS in the same location
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msconfig32.exe shows under run Services as Compaq32 Service Drivers. Not sure what this is.
I am trying to install critical updates to get back to SP2 protection with not much.

    Any suggestions???

Double posting doesn't get you a quicker response. It gives the few of us here more posts to read through and try to work up an intelligent, helpful response for. Please refrain from doing so in the future. ;)
