I was in the process of trying to install a new version of Netscape 4.x and was having trouble so I deleted the old version first and then realized I wiped away any mail that went with it. I purchased a easy recovery professional from ontrack but I'm not sure what to look for out of the 17GB of data it says it can restore. Please help, I know two of the folder names the mail was in but I have no idea what the files inside should look like. Would also like to recover the address book.

    PWD3,

Welcome to the board! You could always recover your User folder. That way, you will have everything you had before. Should be found at C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\yourusername.

Otherwise, you can look for these files:
pab.na2 (all files with *.na2 - Address Book)
Mail files without the SNM extension (Inbox, Sent, etc.)

    Hope that helps.

    Mike
