There are over 10,000 messages in my outlook express inbox, is there a way to delete all?

Click on the first one in the list to highlight it, then scroll to the bottom of the list, press the shift key and then click on the last one in the list. Then press the delete key. Be patient though. This may take a while. When it's done, be sure to compact the folder. Click file>folder>compact.

    Lorenzo2 - Welcome to the Board :)

    A simpler alternative ....

Highlight the first email > Edit > Select All > Delete

Last but not least: Seek out and delete the file called inbox.dbx . It'll get recreated next time you open OE and check mail.
