Resolved Defragging SSDs

    Condusiv Technologies are advertising a product called SSDkeeper 2.0

    My question is, does this mean we are now able to safely defrag SSDs.

    No. SSDs don't suffer from fragmentation issues like hard drives do because data is not written to them in the same way. Therefore there is no need to defrag them. That is why Windows will not attempt to. If you could, you would actually subject the SSD to unnecessary wear and tear, decreasing the expected life expectancy.

    As for that program, you don't need it. Windows knows how to maintain SSDs just fine.
