Belated festive greetings to you all, and this is a pressie that was not welcome for me.

Am running XP Pro and last night I had problems with OE when my inbox would not open and an error message saying low memory. Tried various restore points to no avail, but weirdly it seemed to resolve itself this morning.

However on trying to defrag, I get this error message.

Sorry I am not very techie, so hope it works.........

    Regards

    Bob

Open a "command prompt" and run "chkdsk c: /f" you will need to reboot to fix filesystem errors on c: then try defrag again. :)
