Defrag/Scandisk alternative for Win98

At one time I thought there was substitute for 98's version. Maybe the Win2000 version? Anyways, is there a faster program that I could use? I just loaded Win98 on a new drive to replace a bad drive. I got to thinking that I should try something else besides Norton's for my anti-virus, probably AVG. No Norton bashing please as I continue to use them on my XP systems. I do like Norotn's and have always had good luck with them. I'm just afraid that Norton's will become too much for a Win98 system in the future. I have used SystemWorks for years and really liked their scandisk and defrag programs. Quicker then the Windows version. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.
