defrag for NT4?

    I was told there is no "defrag" for NT4. How are files defragmented and drives made more orderly, then? Thanks.

    You are correct...WinNT 4.0 does not come with a Defragger (it was said that WinNT does not need to be defragged but hmmmm Win2000 & winXp have them now) but you can get Diskeeper Lite ...this piece of softwar will defrag your NT box.

    I also believe that the defragger in Win2k and WinXP is from the Diskeeper line of software...

    dobhar - correct. The Diskeeper folks wrote the code for the 2K & XP defraggers.
