I have a 110 page doc I am creating and suddenly the normal (what I call normal) changed. I want to be able to see each page, at whatever size, showing formatting and pagenumbers. I had it but suddenly it changed.

I now see the data on each page but not shown as a page, but as one long section, twice my screen size but without the page numbers and exaggerated proportions.

I tried every variation on View but none of them (including Normal) brought it back the way it should be. Opening another old doc, of similar material displayed fine. As a clue, perhaps, when I tried to copy one page from the defective file, and paste into into the good one, it still displayed badly without messing the old stuff.

I have to get this book published this week and so I am very disturbed.

If not direct help on this BBS is there a dedicated BBS like the related ACCESS BBS I have used.

Have you tried decreasing the size of the page your viewing. Usually if I view at 100% I get one page but if I view or pan out at a lower resolution, zoom, viewsize say 30%, 20% 10% etc. I get the effect your talking about.

I knew it was something in my docment's setting because another doc displayed fine. I found it.

Something, certainly not me intentionally, had set the page size to 22" instead of 8.5 ". I fixed that but ...

There is still something else wrong. It is printing at about 1/2 size even tho I had not knowingly set it that way. Sheesh
