Both my wife and I are users on her PC. Whenever a restart is needed after an update, etc., the PC restarts in my account, not hers. How can I change this before it leads to a divorce? :)

As a single user on my PC I can't simulate this, but the point that comes to mind - is it a question of alpha order - i.e. is your name alphabetically above her's? Do you have admin rights and she does not?

No doubt someone else with more knowledge of multiple users will have a better suggestion :)

    Hi again Pete,

In answer to your questions: We both have admin rights and wrt alphabetic sequence on her PC, her username is Nanc and mine is xchuck (decided against 'upchuck').
