Default mail & Firefox

    I have no problem accessing my Thunderbird mail via the icon in Firefox ( and that goes for NS8). I heard more than one person clicking on the Read Mail, or trying to send Mail, and having Outlook Express come up. One guy even uninstalled OE, and, although NS7.2 was selected as default mail, OE was coming up when the icon was clicked in NS8.01.
    What should one do?

    Westside,

    My "Read Mail" option brings up Thunderbird, which is my default email program. I have that set in Thunderbird and also in Internet Options, on the Programs tab. TB is listed as default in both and I have no problems with OE coming up. Not sure if that will help, but it works for me.

    That's the way I have my settings. But, I heard of at least a couple of cases like that. Of course, who know what type of setting they, really, have.
