I prefer to use the details view of folder contents when browsing folders with windows explorer. Windows XP defaults to an icon view on my system. Can I change the default?

    Thanks, David A. Hamments

In Windows Explorer, after setting the current view the way you want it, go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on the "Apply to all folders" button. That should do it...the key word there being "should. "
