    Running Win98se & AOL 7.0

IE5.5 won't keep the setting "Always dial me default connection "

Only a problem recently, nothing changed, just stopped "saving" this.

I have checked the autodial setting on AOL, set it to "Automatically Start AOL" (when anything tries to connect - such as IE/OE). This setting does not change, however, after every reboot/boot, IE sets back to "Never dial a connection ".

Anyone know how I can get this setting to stick?

    Cheers
    Dig.

Have you tried a repair of IE ?

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > scroll down to IE > click Remove and a box pops up with a Repair option.

    or

Upgrade to IE 6 + SP!

    Repaired IE, reinstalled Zone Alarm.
