Default Browser

    I have my default browser set to Netscape 7.2 but randomly when I start it I get the message that is no longer my default browser would I like to make it the default. :mad: Any idea what is causeing this and how to fix it?

    Not knowing your system, I would have no idea. But, if you installed a new browser, it may be one which steals default. If you get this to happen again, check what is set as default, in your Control Panel. Or say no, and then click on a link to find out what opens it.
    I have not had this problem in nearly four years, but it happened before, and it is happening again. Except that I know, exactly, what is the cause.

    Thanks Westside for the reply. I am running XP Home Edition sp2 sorry I left this out. I'll check the next time it happens and report back.
