If I understand correctly the below, taken from a TweakTown review, using PC3200 sticks in a MB rated for PC2700 will improve performance. Correct?

"As you can see, Kingmax has done its work on producing a stable memory module. While being rated at CL2.5 for DDR-400, this memory is rated at CL2 for DDR-333 operations, so very easily you can use it on any current DDR-333 board with a minimum of fuss and a full burst of power. "

    yep

However! the kudo is voltage jumpers. 2.5v runs cooler & normal but bump that up to 2.8 & watch the heat & the speed increase! Best have a real good power supply unit also. I'm running IWILL XP333 mobo w/256 pc2400 jacked up to run as fast as 333 @ 2.8v......cheap high here mate:D

Rancher, I still don't understand. If one were to install DDR400 sticks in a MB speced at DDR333 without any other changes would there be an increse in performance?

    yes/no

Don't ya love them answers:) My IWILL shows no increase running fast ram unless I tweak the bios & the voltage no matter what ram pc2100 or pc2700. SANDRA 2002 shows the results of these tweaks. Diff Bios' also have better/worse performance depends on lotsa thangs:D
