Date/time in WIN98SE: changing

    I've bollixed again.

    Long ago I changed the date/time on this computer from North American Standard (Mo/Day/Yr) to European Standard (Day/Mo/Yr) but now I want to give the old box to my Granddaughter but don't want her to be confused by "Grandpaw's wierd-o computer ".

    How do I change back to the American standard? I've totally forgot the method! Looked in controlpanel>date/time and in the browsers (IE and Firefox) but no joy.

    It's been a long time since I stuck my head into a 98-box but there must be some "regional settings" in the control panel.

    Date/time in Win 98 SE

    To change how the computer displays date/time, (maybe you have already figured this out) at your desktop, doubleclick My Computer, then Control Panel, then doubleclick Icon which has a picture of a globe and is named Regional Settings or Country Settings ( I´m not 100% sure what it´s called in English, because I have a Finnish version of Win 98 SE ).
    Doubleclick the "Globe-icon ". Then in the Country-tab, choose English-USA and in the Date-tab, choose the way computer displays date/time.
