PLease help!! I had windows 3.1 on the computer and it worked just fine but I had the bright idea to install windows 95 so I did. Now I can't restart it!! It goes from the Windows screen to a black screen with the message Data Error Reading Drive C Abort,Retry,Ignore, Fail? It doesn't matter what I chose it shuts down. I've tried to start in Safe mode (no go) Can someone please tell me what to do?? I would even be happy with taking off windows 95 but I don't know how to since I can't load it up!!

    Welcome to WindowsBBS:)

If you have a Win95 Boot disk, boot up off it. Type sys c:

If you don't have a win95 bootdisk see if you can find one.
