DAP / Speedbit

Hi All,
Download Accelerator Plus loads Speedbit to your PC.
Some of my spyware apps want to remove Speedbit.
Without Speedbit DAP will not run.
What do you think about that ?

I use DAP, and determined the only advantage to it is downloading multiple files unattended. Other than that, I disable browser intregration and use IE6's download process and get a faster overall download speed, and this is in comparison with a registered version of DAP, with no banner ads.
The Speedbit only works with DAP loaded, uses some bandwidth putting the ads in the banner in DAP.

Thanks for the comments Mark.
I agree about no speed improvements compared to IE basic
download, but we have quite often some 'phone line drops
so I prefer a DL manager that can "Resume ".
Oddly enough the DAP was the pro version without banner ads,
but removing the Speedbit banner element still stopped DAP
loading. I am back again to Reget Deluxe.
