    Hi,
We just ran an AdAware scan and they came up with software called Cydoor. It shows some registry entries.
Does anyone know what this is or what it is for?
We did a search for Cydoor and it came up with nothing.
    Thanks

    Hi jslow
Cydoor is spyware. It installs itself with apps such as imesh. It gathers information, and phones home with the information it gathers. Let Ad-aware clean it out for you.

Cydoor's PP can be found here.

Cydoor is bundled with other products and finds its way onto a system when one of those other products is installed. Removing Cydoor might stop that other product from working. This is usually no loss as it's usually relatively straightforward to find an alternative product which doesn't have bundled spyware.
