    I need more info

I don't understand the question. Where in the task manager do you find history of programs last running? I can tell you how to make your history delete when you close IE, or just dump the secure pages. I can tell you how to block cookies. I can tell you how to operate in "stealth mode" on the internet. I can tell you how to hide "last docs opened ". I know how to disable auto complete for everything. Do you mean the most recently used programs in the Start Button? You can choose to hide them ,too. But I don't know where the task manager figures into this, so if I need educated, someone jump in here and teach me, please!

Anne, I think Daizy pointed out in an earlier thread that if you try to circumvent your System Administrator, you will eventually be caught. It's your employer's decision how to handle it, but you could lose your job. In the USA, if you are fired "for cause ", you get no unemployment insurance. Yes, there are ways to discreetly use the comp for things that are not officially employer sanctioned, and yes, people do it all the time, but it doesn't make it right, nor will you get away with it indefinitely. I am not trying to preach here, or make judgments, so please don't misunderstand me. I just want you to be aware of the consequences for fooling with something relatively inconsequential??? Peace.
