Resolved Custom Search Bar added to Microsoft Edge

As the title says I have managed to add the Custom Search Bar to Microsoft Edge. Edge is blocking it, but when i go into my setting to remove it, it is grayed out and I am unable to sort it! The popup Edge puts out is very annoying and I would, if you can help remove Custon Seach from my PC

Those who are in the "Insiders" program will know about this. Whether this will be available for W10 - I don't know.
In answer to your question, have you had a look in > Settings > Apps > OR > Default Apps > to see if you can either set your Search Bar or Delete it?
P.S. I'm not currently using W10 as I've been with W11 since it's release.

How can I post an image to show you? All I see is-Image-URL?

HI Shaun, There used to be a qualifying period that prevented new members from inserting photos, images into their Thread. I'm not sure whether it still applies.
Can you use one of the Apps to do this for you?

I found this with a Google search. Have a good read through all 3 pages as there may be an answer for you in page 3.
I have used FF for years and always set it up with Google search.
I've been on the "Insider" program since inception, and that is a dedicated comp all through which has FF browser, TB email and Google search. It's not used as my main comp as I worked on the idea that if something went wrong I may lose important info.
My previous "Main" comp was brought through from W8.1 and is running W10. The motherboard hasn't got the TPM 2.0 capability so will stay on W10 as a backup unit.
My "New Main comp" is in my Profile and my HP Notebook are running W11 all 64bit.

Just to clarify for me, what was your "Custom Search Bar" that you added?

I think we have crossed wires mate. I never added "Cutom Search Bar" to edge, its malware and i need to get rid of it.... Still can't post a picture?

I have managed to remove the Malware myself. Thank you for the help. I will mark as solved

 

Sorry I didn't grasp that was your problem.
Did this come with a software download and then try to set up as your Browser?
This is quite a common problem which is often missed when clicking and approving 3rd party software.
I had this happen years back when using XP OS.
You generally could Delete it in Programs and Features but you have not advised how you removed it and from where.
This may help others to know this detail.
