My hard drive crashed and I could not save anything. I re-installed windows 98.
Before the crash I put a program on it that enabled the cursor to automatically position itself on the command box when one appeared.
How do I get feature back in operation?
    Thank You,
    Jack

Hi Jack and welcome to the boards!!

Go into your mouse properties either through the Control Panel or right click on the mouse icon in the sytem tray and click on Properties. Click on the "Pointer Options" tab and check the box for in the "Snap To" section for "Automatically move pointer etc.... "
Click on apply or OK and exit.

    Hope this helps.

    JohnB.

I tried to do what you suggested, but there was no "Snap To" button.
    Thanks,

If it's a microsoft mouse there should be a line on the pointer options tab that says "automatically move pointer to default button in dialog boxes ". If it's not there, you'll most likely have to reinstall the intellipoint software. The option may not be available with the drivers that ship with win98 (don't remember for sure).
