ctrl+alt+del in win98 computer hang no response!

hi 1st of thanx of such a nice website to help the poples to solve the problems i m here because of this 1st of all i want to know about windows 98 second edition

okey and otherthing during work when i got problem so i m tryiing to press ctrl+alt+del like office doc want to close , not working so by pressing cltrl+al+del and try to close programe but when i click on office programe no response and computer become hang so i again restart and work so why when i press cltrl+alt+del nothing happen and i check this one same to my friend computer it's working cltrl+alt+del and can close programme by endtask so can u solve this problem what's wrong.
