    What does the file CTEAXSpl do? It takes up 100% of CPU processing power (I found this from Task Manager) and it slows my PC down plenty.

    I have a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card.

    I visited the Creative forum and a thread there solved this problem.

    It's nothing but the Creative Splash screen, would you believe!
