Windows Vista Creator Owner folder, cannot delete it

I have a folder in the Program Files folder (64bit area) that is controlled by the CREATOR OWNER
labeled "GATEWAY ". There are no permission check marks assigned to the folder (Its a Gateway PC).

Under the Security tab, Admin, Users, and Trusted Installer have full permissions but Creator Owner
shows no permissions.

I want to delete this folder since its very much out of date but Vista won't let me delete it.
I have tried the "Take Control" utility (using both Admin and Users) but still cannot delete this folder.

I don't know a lot about the vista security except I think it goes overboard.

Any ideas as to how i can get rid of the GATEWAY folder?

Hi Evan, thanks for responding.

I installed Take Ownership to the registry and rebooted. Then signed on as administrator. Right-clicked
on the folder but still won't let me delete the folder. Still says i need permission.....
