Hi. How can I take a movie that I downloaded with an .avi extension from LimeWire and burn it to a DVD?

I downloaded that and it worked great except you have to pay for the key to unlock it. Otherwise it will leave a watermark on the video.

I don't know what you downloaded but AVI2DVD is freeware and requires nothing else.

    Different link

Thanks. I downloaded AVS and not AVI2DVD. I'm gonna give a try and let you know.

I downloaded it and I can't get it to work. I choose the file I want to burn, create the "job" and then it says to choose an audio stream. I push "ok" and then it says file access denied. Am I doing something wrong? This program doesn't seem very user friendly. I'm a novice so please be patient with me.

I have never used the program as I have never downloaded a movie from the internet.

I suggest you spend some quality time with the help files in the program and in some sites on the net like this one. You will find Google to be a great help also.

Good luck...It only took me a couple of years of hunting on the internet to learn the video editing that I do.
