I installed and played UT 2K4 today. I was able to play it fine for 3 hours, but then it just crashed. When I got back into Windows and looked at my Event Viewer, I found this:

I'm not sure if my sound or video drivers might be to blame, or perhaps heat. I updated my vid drivers and reinstalled my sound drivers because I think they were messed up anyway. Next time I play the game, I'll take the side off my case and see if that makes a difference.

Do I need a new vid card? Perhaps a 64 MB card just isn't enough to cut it with UT 2K4.

I'm not a gamer - just the occasional round in Links - but from what I read on vid cards these days that card is way behind the pack.

Have you checked out the vid requirements for UT?

I played it last night for 9 hours straight with no troubles. I took the side off my case and had updated my vid drivers. I think maybe it overheated on Saturday. Also my vid card is listed as the recommended number of MB.

Some stamina :D - glad to hear there's no great problem.
