Installing Vista, I was told some of my programs will not work. Those programs are:

    The Sims 2
    System Mechanic 6
    Microsoft Powertoys for XP
    Works 8
    PowerDVD 6
    QuickTime 6
    Norton Security Center
    Sun Java Scheduler
    DesktopX
    nView Desktop Manager

Question 1: If I were to run these programs once Vista was installed (it's not requiring me to uninstall them), could I run them in a compatiblity mode, like what XP has?

Question 2: Three programs it asked me to remove before it would even continue installing are Norton Applications 2003-2006 and Nero Burning Rom (I use it for my backups). Would I be able to reinstall these after Vista is finished?

Question 3: Does anyone know where I can find an unofficial driver to force Vista to support my printer? It is a Lexmark P915 and their website doesn't have a Vista driver, or any beta drivers.

    1. You'll have to test and see.

    2. Probably not.

    3. There's not too much in the way of motivation for someone other than Lexmark to develop the drivers.
