couldnotfind.com !!!

Guys,

Just a warning - I just happened to be tinkering in my registry under HKCU on the IE 'main' page when I noticed entries for; 'couldnotfind.com' - this intrigued me so I ran a search on google and discovered its a piece of spyware which should be deleted asap.

I had no idea it was there at all, so if youre ever in HKCU take a quick look under IE > MAIN.

There is a little utility to destroy it which I cant recall the name of at the moment (i'm at work) but its in the search sites. I think just deleting the keys will do it though.

Just thought you'd like to know,

Thanks for the heads up. Did you by chance run SpyBot http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/

Curious as to whether SSD would take care of it.

Wish I could remember, Spybot was mentioned as I remember in some of the fixes but I used a utility that scanned and then fixed the problem.

I'll look when I get home tonight and post tomorrow.
