Resolved Could this be a virus

    Following some critical issue I am reconfiguring my PC and have come across 2mystery folders in my D. drive

    The first folder is named 769d89ff7dc10c9c28dd13ec7087cb and contains >>
    MRT and mrt.exe_p_p File2,551 KB and mrtstub

    The second folder is named 9823fd48ed8f1bddd8 it contains 2 folders >>> amd64 and i386 Both folders have the same content.

    Is it possible that these are of a virus nature ?

    No - these are Windows folders, probably originating from an update.
