Yesterday I burned my recovery discs for win 8,today I found out I had corrupted files by running sfc/scannow.I then ran DISM.exe and it said that everything was fixed. So then I reran sfc/scannow and it said that it found no violations.Does this mean my recovery discs are corrupted too??I burned them BEFORE I found out about the bad files!

Hi nolacs22, Welcome to WindowsBBS. :)

If you have just installed W8 there is a possibility that it is corrupt.
Make sure you get ALL the updates from MS for W8. The next thing should be the offer to update to W8.1
Once you've got W8.1 installed, then you can run sfc /scannow to check all is OK. You should then be able to make one copy for Recovery of W8.1. Neil.
