corrupted/missing file

    When i restarted my computer yesterday, t0day i on it, i can't get into the windows.. it says : Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupted: /WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM.. What should I do? I inserted the windows CD.. I wanted to repair it. But I don't know to type what to recovery it.. Need help badly... :(

    Thanks for the replies.... I tried it again... I followed what it say for the commands likes
    CD C:\Windows\System32\ConfigREN system system.oldCOPY C:\Windows\Repair\system
    But as for C:\Windows\Repair\system , I couldn't type the system.. It say the name specified is not a directory... But it is under the dir. What should i do ? Please Help..:confused:

    Yea, the command isn't showing right:

    CD C:\Windows\System32\Config

    REN system system.old

    COPY C:\Windows\Repair\system

    press ENTER after each command.
