corrupt wav files

    Hi All,
    i am having problems configuring my sound events through the control panel. when i try and preview the sound, i get an error message saying the file is corrupt when in reality it's not. i can play the file fine through wm player. anyone know hoiw i can fix this?

    Are these normal default wav or are they some customs you downloaded? It sounds as if they may be larger than the normal ones.

    these are the normal wavs installed by Windows. i think it happens after i install my soundcard.
