copy the autocomplete email address in OE 6 to a new computer

    I have a user which want to work only with OE 6, and wants also to have on the new computer the full autocomplete list from the old one.

    This should work for you ....

    First export the Address Book from the old computer to the new .....

    How to back up and to restore Outlook Express data

    Then in Outlook Express on the new computer go ....

    Tools > Options > Send and check 'Automatically complete email addresses when composing'.

    No, the autocomplete can't be transferred. I know what he's trying to do and I've run into it before. The address book, as mentioned, can certainly be copied over, but any email addresses that are not in the address book, only in the autocomplete, can not be copied.
