Anyone know how to add 'copy shortcut' to right click on favorites URL's? Was going to pose that question in the 'Open in New Window' thread in IE a while back, but never did. That's a handy one for Favorites. :)

noahdfear--Good challenge. Hope someone will tell us how. :)
Now I right click on the Favorite|Properties|Control+C. Four clicks instead of hopefully two.

Right-click "Copy" is all you need.

Selecting copy on a shortcut in my favorites list would not even produce a paste option when trying to insert it's URL as a link, but thanks for your input. Copy URL works perfectly!

    I installed it.

I am using IE 6 and XP Pro.

My right click is not showing anything different. What am I doing wrong?

When you right click on a Favorite, you should have three extra choices Copy Url, Copy Link, Copy Name. Left click on copy url to put that url onto your clipboard without opening the page. Did you shut IE and restart it? Reboot, maybe? CopyUrl has worked perfectly for me since install, and I use it several times a day.

I download programs like this from the website to my harddrive, then install from there. I don't remember CopyUrl requiring a reboot, but it can't hurt! ;)

If that doesn't get it going, you might try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Dave, I bet I make better coffee than you...:D

No, No, NO Dave. I'm in Minnesota so I can vouch for the fact that it all comes from North Dakota. :) We're about to pull a fast one on em here in MN though. It's going to warm up here pretty soon and we're going to melt anything they send our way. I'll accept any thanks you send our way for that! :D

Yeah, I know, and when you are done with the cold in INDIANA , you'll send it straight here with a 40mph wind... When I wanna know the weather, I just look to the west- and that is INDIANA!!! Keep the ice, Dave! I'll take Martin's weather, instead, okay? (Even Newt's isn't too bad...except hurricane season! :D )

Sometimes even the NC wx ain't so pretty good though.

I was fishing yesterday and picked a sheltered spot because it was a little breezy. Warm (around 70º) but windy.

Temp started to drop and it was getting late so I upped anchor and headed for the landing. When I left the shelter of the hill and trees, whoooo boy.

Clear skies but the temp was in the process of making a 2 hour drop from 70º to 40º (finally hit 30º late in the evening) and the wind had gotten up some serious waves. I had to run back to cover and put on a rain suit.

Did pretty well heading back in. Wet and bumpy but not too bad. Then I happened across a poor soul whose motor had mis-behaved and he was up against the bank where the water was too shallow for him to put his motor down even though he'd gotten it working again. I tossed him a line and then had to back out to get him free - and as luck would have it, to back directly into the dang waves. Real glad my bilge pump was working.

I'm seriously ready for Spring and then Summer.
