In past versions of NS, I was able to copy a word or words or whole lines and then open the mail filters, and past it in. With NS 7.01, this seems not to work. Is there a fix for this? I have the Silly Dog version streamline one but it didnt work in the NS full version from Netscape site as well. By the way, I like the streamline version much better. Also, while on the subject of mail, the mail notify option wont work either like the old one did, when it showed the envelope icon in the system tray how it would raise a flag even if mail was not running. Ive gone through all the settings and have notify marked but i dont get a notice unless mail is running at same time.

    Hi Basstracker,

The copy/paste in the Message Filter set up will work with the keyboard shortcuts. : Ctrl+C for copy and Ctrl+V for paste.

I believe on the Mail Notification, you are thinking about NSNotify. That program comes with Netscape Communicator. In order to use it with Netscape 7.01, you must have Communicator installed on your system. If this is the case, here is how to use the program with Netscape 7.01: Mail Notification (NSnotify) Workaround

Post back if you have more questions.

    works with 1 twist

Thanks. I removed my last version of NS 4.78 so the nsnotify.exe was gone, how ever I copied it from wifes computer, and I also had to copy a .dll file nsmailui.dll in order for it to work. works fine now. Thanks again!

    Hi Basstracker,

You were able to copy the two files, without installing Communicator? That's very  , as in Netscape 6.2.3, and 7.0PR1, it was necessary to have Communicator installed in order to use NSNotify...
