    Greetings,

I am using Thunderbird 11.0.1 on Win XP SP3. Thuderbird's view is set to conversation mode and I am using unified folders in an IMAP setup. I have the folders on the left and the list of emails on the right top above the window that shows the text of the email that is highlighted above.

When I highlight an email, the window below shows the text of the email and in the top right corner of that window it shows who the email is from and who it is to. If I hover over the from name it displays the address and a button to copy that address.

I use this to create lists of spam domains that I paste into a blacklist on my email server so my spam filter has less to do and I have less to check. Right now I have about 1,400 domains in the list. In the last twelve hours I have over 100 spam messages in my spam folder even with 1,400 domains blocked. It is very tedious to copy each address one at a time. I would like to be able to highlight the entire list of spam emails and copy all the from addresses at once.

Does anyone know of a way or an extension that would perform this function? Please let me know if you need more info or I can clarify anything.

    Thanks for the help.
    Best, Scott

I agree, but so far it has cut down the number of emails that land in TB 11 each day. I will probably continue until my webhost/email provider says something about the load it is causing. I wish there were some way to control this that did not require such vigilance. Anyway, evere heard of a way to do this? Thanks.

p.s. like your signature graphic. just saw it while reading a post in win xp on drive letters.

    Thanks.

I've been letting Gmail control the SPAM for years. I rarely see any SPAM whatsoever in my Inbox. And, I can't remember the last time I spotted something in the SPAM folder that didn't belong there. Works for me. :)
