This is a problem my friend from another forum is having:
"...all of a sudden I am unable to copy and paste in Netscape 4.79...The problem happened during an internet session where I had copied and pasted previously with no problem...I can cut and paste in IE...I tried Netscape 7, and I could copy and paste there, but I hated it, so I uninstalled...I have uninstalled and reinstalled Netscape 4.79 several times...I even tried installing earlier versions of Netscape 4, but I couldn't copy and paste with any of them... copy and paste with right click or from the Edit Menu [doesn't work]...I can copy from a message box like [this one], but I can't copy from an ordinary page "
    I'm puzzled. Any idea, guys?

    Hi broni,

    Have your friend try this:

Try selecting text, then pressing Ctrl+C
to copy. Even if text does not appear to be selected, open Notepad, or any text editor, and press Ctrl+V.
