Why is it when you select Tools->Internet Options->Delete Cookies the Cookies don't get deleted? What's up with that? Thanks in advance.

    Where are you looking?
The cookies are stored by default in:
    Documents and Settings\<username>\Cookies

The "cookies" you may see in the temporary internet files are just pointers to the real cookies in the Cookies folder. You can delete those pointers, if you want, when you are deleting the cookies themselves.

I select the "Delete Cookies" and then I look in Documents and Settings/etc/Cookies and they aren't deleted.

Don't know what to tell you.
I don't want to try it and end up losing my cookies, but you could always make a shortcut to your cookie folder and delete them manually.

    They should!

You may be seeing another users profile! You are using XP so you should have a cookie folder in at least 2 places! Administrator and default user, more than likely you have more!

But no problem just search for cookies*.* and enter each folder that it finds and do ctrl a highlite and delete away!

It want let you delete index.dat. I do mine from DOS!
