converting quicktime to mp3

Does anyone have a suggestion how to convert a quicktime audio file to a .mp3 file. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

You might try Irfanview if you simply want an option to play both types. Free app and if you get the plug-ins, it will play MOV files. Not sure about conversions though - I've never tried.
