    Hi,
I thought I figured this out about a year ago and now I cannot find any of my notes on this.

I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.3.5.10 on my system running Windows XP.

I would like to convert several songs to WAV files so I can burn a music CD so it can be used in any CD player.

When I try to convert a song, I have tried several suggestions but they don't work, such as:
In the Source window, select track, click Convert, an then a window should open and I can convert to a WAV file.
    or
Right Click the track and a window will give me a choice to convert it. I do not have anything like that after I right click the track.

Is the reason I can't conver because I need a different copy of Easy CD Creator. This version came with my computer and I'm wonder if I need the Platinum version which I think I would have to buy.

I know I can convert in Music Match but I would like to know why the CONVERT butter is not working in my version of CD Creator.

Thanks for any help on this subject.

    Jean

You shouldn't have to manually convert your .mp3 to .wav to make a .cda disk. Easy 5 will do the conversion for you automatically.

Just open Roxio 5 > Make a Music CD > Music CD PROJECT (second selection).

Open the folder(s) containing your .mp3 files that you would like to put on a CD. Add those files to the bottom of your screen. You can arrange them in any order you so please.

If it doesn't work, then you have to go up to Roxio to get all the updates.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. I didn't realize it is fully automatic.
