    Hi,

I typed a document in Word 2000 and am trying to send it to my daughter who only has Word 7 for Windows 95. When I sent it to her she said she couldn't open it.

How can I convert the document so she can read it. I don't see anything in the SAVE AS file to save it in Word 7 for Win 95.

Please help. It is important that she gets this document.

    Thanks so much.

    Jean

There should be Word 6.0/95 (*.doc) listed in the Save As command in Word 2000. If it isn't, start Word 2000 installer, and choose to install additional converters.

    Thank you so much Arie.

I swear I looked there last night under the Save AS menu and didn't see the conversion. It worked great.

    I appreciate the fast response.

Ibelieve you have several options. You can save it as anything less than 7. I am not sure aboput 2000 but xp offers 6 and 5 options. You can also save it as an RTF which almost all word processors will deal with. Hope this helps.
