Not sure if there is a free program for doing this - have located several on the net - but is there a way to convert a DVD video back onto your hard drive??
Would appreciate any answers explaining this.
    Thank you,
    Lucy

From a burnt DVD? That can be done - I use Pinnacle Studio 9 - not a freebie and that produces a mpeg file.

I think you will find that this freebie will do the trick too - I have used it.
