Control Panel question

Hi: I have a question about my control panel. My OS is XP Professional. When I look into my control panel it shows all the programs I have why do some of them not have the size of file showing. Example DMVite is listed but it doesn't show a size of file there. When I press it nothing comes up. I was wondering if I only deleted part of this file. Thanks in advance

 

That's fairly common and it's caused by the fact that the information is not contained in the program file. Most well written programs include that information but you may notice that sometime even that isn't true. I see some M$ proggys that don't have it. Not to worry.

In the case of DmvLite (spyware), I think the entry you see is an orphan. I assume you have cleaned the spyware from your drive. You should allow XP Add/Remove to clear the entry for you.

 

Thank you for your quick response. I followed all instructions for deleting DMvlite. Yes I did go into add/remove to remove the file first. When I scan my computer for virus nothing shows up. Have a great day!
