Resolved Control panel opens periodically

    The control panel opens on its own rather frequently. When in MS Word, the result is always the same: input is interrupted and 2 CR's + tabs + a 't' regularly occur. What can be causing the control panel to open? ... is there someway to identify the program that is causing this?

    Thanks but the problem is now academic. My PC just went bottoms up. Need to get a new one.
