I used to be able to see my email contacts on the left side of the screen right below the folders. I did something and they disappeared and I can't get them back. Now I can only see the contacts if I click on "new mail ". I used to be able to write a new piece of mail by clicking on the contact. Does anyone know how to get the contacts back?

    Thanks.

Thanks Daizy ... you saved me a million hours of looking in Windows 98 tricks and tips where I couldn't find it.

    Thanks again

    Giggle...

I had to chuckle when I read this post. This is a constant problem with my mother-in-law. She's 79 and only a few years new to computers. We get calls and e-mails from her all the time that she's lost her contact list or has moved the menu bar to the top of her screen again! I sent her instructions several times on how to fix it and she finally printed the instructions out so she can look it up her self now. I guess you just can't teach an old 'person' new tricks. But, then again, sometimes you can't teach a YOUNG one, either. We all have our 'DUH' days!

Keep the faith and Happy Surfing!

    :)

Have to say that I think that this is a windows problem not an age problem. I went to options, accounts, and all the hundreds of other places that I usually go to. Sometimes it's right click, sometimes its hidden in some remarkably obscure place. There are too many places for things to be in.

    Thank goodness for this board.
