contact: couldn't display simplily chinese

    Dear all,

    I have one laptop (Windows me Chinese, outlook 2000), one desktop (Windows 2000 English, outlook 2000) and one HP iPAQ (mobile 2003 English), after synchronized contact infomation, iPAQ can display Chinese characters properly, but on desktop it always display Chinese as ????

    Could you please advices what should I do to get my desktop display Chinese characters correctly?
    Any response would be great appreciated!

    In your desktop did you try Start-> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> "Standards and Formats" as well as "Location "

    Not sure if it helps, but try it...! :)
