    Hi folks,

I just got a new PC and while I'm new to Vista, I can remember sometimes having this problem with prior Windows versions.

When I put my computer in "sleep" mode, it gets very cranky. After waking up, NOTHING seems to work right. Internet Explorer can't get a firm internet connection, other applications lock up, and eventually I have to restart. In many of the lockup cases, the CTL-ALT-DEL doesn't even work, so a cold power shut off is the only way out.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue? It is quite frustrating, to the point where the sleep/hibernate isn't even an option.

If it's not a laptop, forget any Windows power saving features.
They've never worked 100%. They work for some people, and they don't for others.
