    Hi

Just wandering if anyone could help?

I was using my Pc the other night when i experienced a power cut, now every time i reboot the pc, i get something called chkdsk scanning c:

Is there any way to stop this, or is it maybe that my hard drive could be damaged?.

Any help would be much appreciated, as its very annoying waiting every time i boot up!!

    I am running XP Pro.

    Thanks.
