"The Connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please Try again. "

Upon trying to visit Youtube, or merely search it through a Search Engine, I get that Error Message.

I am running FireFox 3.0.0 I believe, though if the message pops up I'll finally switch to the latest version. I'm running Windows Vista Home Basic.

I've seen that typing "about:config" into the Address Bar, and disabling "ipv6" would work. Didn't. So don't suggest that.

Also, disabling cookies wasn't a quick fix either.

Youtube works just fine on other computers in this network, but not this laptop.

So, I figure, no big deal, I'll try Vtunnel. That worked to get around the block, but I couldn't log into Youtube.

This problem occurs in all browsers I run. Which are, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Google Chrome.

I asked my dad *hails over the wireless settings* if he had accidentally blocked it, he hadn't.

Any help? If you need to know more, I'll try and get the info. I'll probably need to know how to get the info though.

Are you connecting wired or wireless?

If wireless do other sites give similar problems?

What firewall are you using on the problem machine?

What router do you use for internet connections?

    1. Wireless.

    2. Nope. Just Youtube, and Searching through a Search Engine for Youtube.

    3. None, after reading a Firewall may be the source.

    4. Linksys. Don't know any specifics about it.

Drop to a command prompt and type

    Code:
    nslookup www.youtube.com

    Record the results then try

    Code:
    tracert www.youtube.com

Post the results of both here.

Since then, the above error no longer shows. Instead, nothing loads at all upon searching/typing the URL to Youtube, and I get a blank page.
